1. Does RSI offer a FREE SYSTEM? No – There is no such thing as “Free”. Other security companies will lure customers in by advertising a “Free Alarm System” with a service contract. However, their customers end up with high monitoring rates, hidden fees and lengthy contracts… that you will most likely have to pay a fee to break.

2. Does RSI require a contract for monitoring? No – Our customers are not required to sign a contract when they purchase a system. If they choose to be monitored, it is on monthly basis and they can cancel at any time with no additional cost. We just ask that they notify our office in advance of the cancellation.

3. Does RSI have its own monitoring station? No – RSI specializes in service and installation. We believe our customers would be best served by a company specializing in quality monitoring services.

4. Is RSI’s monitoring station local? No – CMS Monitoring Services is located in Orlando, Fl. They use the AT&T Definity Megacom service that bypasses local phone company circuits, which puts calls through quickly and efficiently, regardless of proximity to the station.

5. Is the monitoring service UL certified? Yes – CMS Monitoring Services are UL certified to follow standards for Burglary and Fire Protective Signaling. CMS also performs strict background checks and provides extensive training to their monitoring staff.

6. Is there a standard RSI warranty? Yes - 12 months for materials and labor. However, some equipment carries a longer warranty of 36 months.

7. Does RSI offer an extended warranty? Yes – Up to 36 months with monitoring service on systems installed by RSI.
